That ok! I suck, too lol. It takes time and practice, but to help you get started, being comfortable in front of the camera begins with being comfortable in your voice. I have many examples in my curated video vault, and there are ways for you to get on camera without being in front of the camera!

I teach people how to make money online. Is Stories to Launch right for me?

Probably not. Teaching people “how to make money online” is like teaching people how to make money on Earth. What the hell does that even mean? I have friends who have 9-5s, and they technically make money online from jobs they hate. Get clear on exactly what you teach folks and make it ethical. “Make money online” feels like a scam a blog posted about in 2005.

I’m an affiliate marketer. Is Stories to Launch right for me?

Probably not. Affiliate marketers will get some value from this. However, this isn’t an affiliate marketing program. Affiliate marketing is just such a different animal. There are other programs out there to help you out. BTW, You’ll make more money selling your own products and services…but that’s just me.

I’m a real estate agent. Is this membership right for me?

Probably not. I’m sure I will get some value from Stories to Launch, but since the markets fluctuate with interest rates, I’ll say this: marketing can fix many problems, but it remains a challenge for the housing market when the market is shaky.

Stories to Launch is a video marketing resource to help benefit-driven offers to sell. Selling leisure/investment-type offers will see a boost with video marketing, but it’s not my specialty. So, if you’re open-minded to create an offer like a small paid workshop to help people write their first book in 100 days or to help them get their artwork into shows, Stories to Launch can help you do that. Or, If you’re interested in building a personal brand!

Is there training in video editing? What equipment do I need? Do I need a teleprompter?

As of now, there is no training in video editing. Editing these videos, I teach inside of Stories to Launch on your phone is straightforward. After watching a few videos in the vault, and making 2-4 videos you’ll be a pro. They don’t require graphics or anything crazy like that. Simple cuts, simple voiceovers, simple clips, and a great story are the ingredients to make videos that sell. Of course, I do audits on content too, so want help? Just ask!

As far as equipment: 

  • Video Editing apps: You can use Capcut (free), Canva, iMovie (free), or Descript to help you edit. 

  • It would help if you had a smartphone made in the last 5-6 years. (I use a 2019 iPhone 11 Pro Max and my Macbook webcam. They work great.) 

  • Getting a tripod helps to record yourself, too!

  • CapCut has a built-in camera and teleprompter feature!

  • A light source like a well-lit room or the good outdoors works excellent!

  • (Optional) a microphone like the one built into the Apple wired headset is solid!

Sure, you could figure it out all by yourself. But let’s get real.

How much time will that take?

I could have compiled everything inside of Stories to Launch, easily charge you over a thousand bucks, and been on my way.
